In a significant move to strengthen its production and operational excellence, Stellantis has announced the return of automotive manufacturing veteran Mauro Pino as the Head of North America Manufacturing, effective immediately (October 13, 2025). This high-profile appointment coincides with Tim Fallon moving into a crucial global position to drive innovation across the company’s vast manufacturing footprint.
Pino's return underscores Stellantis' commitment to leveraging proven, deep-seated talent to enhance regional operations.
Veteran Leadership Returns to North America
Mauro Pino re-joins Stellantis after a tenure at Eaton Aerospace, where he served as Director of Transformation for North American operations. His roots within Stellantis (and its predecessor companies) run deep, spanning 25 years in various senior roles across North and South America.
Antonio Filosa, Stellantis CEO and COO North America, emphasized the value of Pino's history with the company:
"With 25 years of history and impact within our company, Mauro’s return demonstrates the incredible know-how and talent we foster and grow... Mauro’s leadership will continue to foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety and quality.”
Pino is recognized for his hands-on approach and ability to champion rigorous standards. His prior leadership was instrumental in implementing operational excellence programs and transforming facilities, such as the Toledo Assembly Complex, into global benchmarks for efficiency. Pino will now oversee all 31 assembly, powertrain, and component plants in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Fallon to Drive Global Manufacturing Innovation
In a complementary strategic move, Tim Fallon transitions from his role as Head of North American Manufacturing to become the Global Head of Stellantis Production Way (SPW).
The Stellantis Production Way is the company’s standardized, comprehensive, and structured global methodology aimed at achieving world-class performance in safety, quality, cost, and productivity across all manufacturing sites.
In this new global capacity, Fallon will be instrumental in:
- Driving Innovation: Leading the integration of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart robotics.
- Elevating Excellence: Ensuring the continuous evolution of the production system to enhance product excellence and operational efficiency globally.
Fallon will report to Francesco Ciancia, the newly appointed Global Head of Manufacturing. Filosa praised Fallon’s expertise, stating, “I look forward to seeing how the insights he gained in his previous role will drive the evolution of our production system and foster innovation across our global footprint.”
These leadership appointments reflect Stellantis’ strategy to solidify industrial discipline in key regions while simultaneously accelerating technological innovation across its worldwide production system.
