Iliza Shlesinger Gets "Dirty" in New 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Social Media Reveal

The Jeep brand is taking a decidedly unexpected—and risqué—turn to relaunch its flagship SUV. Following the reveal of the reimagined 2026 Jeep® Grand Wagoneer earlier this month, the brand has debuted a new social media campaign starring comedian, actor, and mother, Iliza Shlesinger. The campaign cleverly uses her sharp, "off-color" wit to highlight the family-friendly vehicle's core features in a very un-family-friendly way.

The new long-form video, titled “The Family SUV,” launched today, October 23, 2025, on the Jeep brand’s YouTube channel. The premise? Shlesinger is in a marketing meeting, determinedly pitching a blush-inducing campaign idea to horrified Jeep executives, who quickly try to steer the conversation back to safety features.

Shlesinger remains unfazed, anchoring her pitch in a real (and hilariously specific) online article that calls the Grand Wagoneer a "rolling Ritz Carlton... that'll help set the mood."

A Parody Pitch to "Fill Out Those Three Rows"

Known for her insightful standup comedy on motherhood and society, Shlesinger leans directly into the parody. The campaign's joke is that the vehicle's luxurious, "mood-setting" features—like three-row seating, ambient interior lighting, massage seats, and a state-of-the-art audio system—are perhaps a little too good at encouraging families to grow.

“I was excited to work with the Jeep brand on this unconventional Jeep Grand Wagoneer ad campaign,” said Shlesinger. “I love that they went for something different and were open to parodying traditional vehicle reveals. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is beautiful, spacious and, hopefully after seeing this film, there are more babies in the world ready to fill out those three rows.”

Shorter clips from the "The Family SUV" video, created in partnership with Chicago-based agency Highdive, will also run across the Jeep brand’s Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter) channels.

A "Fresh and Unexpected" Reset for the Grand Wagoneer

For Stellantis and the Jeep brand, the humorous, social-media-first approach is intentional. It’s designed to cut through the noise and redefine the flagship SUV for a new audience.

"As the Jeep Grand Wagoneer resets its lineup for 2026, we decided to take a fresh and unexpected approach for the vehicle's reveal video, designed to entertain our Jeep fans and trigger curiosity," said Olivier Francois, global chief marketing officer at Stellantis. Francois emphasized the goal is to be "memorable and to put a smile on their faces."

Bob Broderdorf, Jeep brand CEO, connected the campaign's humor back to the product's new value proposition. "As we reset the nameplate’s future, Iliza reminds in a way only she can, about just how much there is to love with the new Grand Wagoneer," Broderdorf said.

What’s New: The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Price and Powertrain

Beyond the new ad, the 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer ushers in significant changes, aimed at making the luxury SUV "more approachable than ever before."

The most critical update is the new, more accessible price point, starting under $65,000.

This "reimagined" 2026 model also simplifies the lineup and introduces a groundbreaking new powertrain option. Arriving with late availability, the 2026 Grand Wagoneer will offer a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) application, a first for an SUV in the American market. This system will provide electric performance supplemented by an onboard gasoline generator, eliminating range anxiety while still prioritizing electric driving.

The new model, which now features Jeep brand badging, aims to set a new benchmark for American-manufactured large SUVs by blending its traditional rugged capability with a new level of refinement and value.

This launch is part of a broader offensive from the brand, which also recently released the first official images of the refreshed 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and is running a MONOPOLY Bonus Cash Allowance program with Hasbro through November 3, giving customers $500 in MONOPOLY Money to apply toward a new 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
