Terry Crews Sings His Way to Glory: Ram Launches "Epic Launch" College Football Campaign
Ram is firing up the 2025 college football season with a campaign that’s as powerful and unforgettable as its trucks. Actor and former college football player Terry Crews is the face—and surprisingly, the singing voice—of Ram’s new marketing and advertising campaign, "Epic Launch."
The multi-installment campaign kicked off on October 13, 2025, taking viewers through the excitement of the season with four national broadcast commercials and multiple digital videos across social media channels, all starring the beloved actor of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “America’s Got Talent.”
An Anthem of Horsepower and Heart
For a brand that associates itself with unmatched performance and spirited loyalty, Ram wanted an anthem that truly resonated with fans. Terry Crews, a self-proclaimed “Ram truck super fan,” was the perfect choice to pen the “Epic Launch” fight song.
“As a former college football player and current Ram truck super fan, it was awesome for me to support both with an epic fight song,” said Crews. “I had a blast bringing this crazy idea to life.”
The campaign’s creative director, Olivier Francois, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Stellantis, noted, “As viewers will see in our season-long marketing campaign, Terry Crews literally sings the virtues of Ram's unrivaled performance and the many ways the truck brand standouts across its competition.”
The Ram campaign is tackling its college football commitment with "bold creativity, focus and relentless drive," mirroring the ethos of the truck lineup, according to Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis.
The “White Chicks” Encore that Went Viral
Before the official "Epic Launch," Ram generated massive buzz with a teaser video titled “Favorite Song.” The clip was a brilliant nod to a pop culture moment that has defined Terry Crews for millions: his hilarious rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” in the cult classic film, White Chicks.
In the teaser, Crews is inside a Ram truck, announcing he’s written a college fight song for the brand. However, when he presses play, the 2001 smash hit begins, prompting Crews to exclaim, “What the—? That’s not it. I do love this song, though!” He then proceeds to sing and head-shake to the music, giving fans the 21-years-later encore they never knew they needed.
The campaign even features a cameo from college quarterback Drew Allar of the Penn State Nittany Lions, further cementing Ram’s commitment to the sport. A multicultural extension for the Hispanic market is also planned.
Ram’s Powerful Performance: On the Field and in the Showroom
The campaign’s focus on power and performance comes at a time when Ram is seeing impressive market momentum:
- The HEMI® V-8 engine is making a powerful return to the Ram 1500 lineup, with orders already exceeding the truck’s production capacity.
- Dealerships report that initial units of the Ram 1500 are selling in just five days on average, driven by intense consumer anticipation and demand.
- Ram’s retail sales saw a 26% increase in Q3 2025, with light-duty trucks' total sales up 10% year over year in the same quarter.
With a massive market surge and Terry Crews’ undeniable energy, Ram’s "Epic Launch" is set to dominate the college football season, proving that when it comes to performance, the truck brand truly leaves it all out on the field.
